Radiology - Ultrasound

Situated on the ground floor of the hospital, the Radiology department caters for the medical imagery needs of the surrounding area. The department offers a full spectrum of ultrasound (echographic) and general radiology examinations as well as digital medical imaging techniques.

In particular, the department covers paediatric radiology and ultrasonography, gynaecological ultrasonography, general and osteoarticular ultrasonography, mammography (the department is a certified centre for screening for diseases of the breast), interventional techniques,  osteodensitometry (screening for osteoporosis), dental radiology and general radiology of bony and soft tissues.

Appointments for normal and MRI scans are made here but the intervention itself will be performed by our radiologists using facilities located elsewhere.
